Before we get on board

Before we get on board on Wednesday, we've decided to have an overnight stay near Heathrow before our flight on Tuesday.

So we leave home on Monday 28 August and we'll be staying at the Thistle Hotel near Terminal 5 on Heathrow Airport on Monday night.

On Tuesday we fly to Boston.  When we booked the flight it was showing as departing at 1115 whereas that seems to have changed to 1440. It will help if we can be sure of the time so that we don't think it's leaving  in the afternoon when it's actually leaving in the morning!

Once we land in Boston, there's said to be a free hotel shuttle so our only issue there will be to find it!

Our hotel is the Hampton Inn Boston-Logan Airport. 

We were originally intending to stay for a number of nights but with hotel prices there as they are (c. £300 per night) we decided against it!  We will be having a city tour and drop off at the airport at the end of the cruise, so we will at least get an introduction to the city then.

It'll be a taxi from the hotel to the cruise port unless there's a group of us at the hotel who are willing to share a minivan,  We will see!
